Louisiana Designee & Alternate
Leslie Dandridge Durham was born and raised in Tensas Parish, Louisiana. She attended the University of Louisiana at Monroe and is a graduate of the inaugural class of the Delta Leadership Institute's Executive Academy in 2005. She previously worked for Governor Kathleen Babineaux Blanco as Director of Renewal Communities and Delta Regional Authority Designee. Mrs. Durham was the Public Relations Director for the Northeast Louisiana Economic Alliance (NELEA). She served on the local level as the Economic Development Coordinator for the Tensas Parish Police Jury. Recently, she was Deputy Clerk of Court for Tensas Parish and was a Driver’s Education Instructor with Delta Safety Driving School. Mrs. Durham is the current President of St Joseph Arts, Inc. and Music School, Board Member for the Tensas Community Health Center, and member of the Tensas Garden Club and Tensas Revitalization Alliance. During her time as Delta Regional Authority’s Designee for Governor Blanco, Mrs. Durham was named Louisiana Planning and Development District’s Person of the Year 2007. Leslie is married to Mike “Bull” Durham. She has 3 children Kellon, Maggie and Morgan Lee, and 3 step children Michael, Beth and Kate Durham. She also has two grandchildren Caroline and Charlotte Durham.
