Delta Regional Authority Announces Delta Fellowship Program Positions for Summer/Fall 2022

CLARKSDALE, MS – Delta Regional Authority (DRA) today announced applications are now being accepted for the 2022 Delta Fellowship Program. DRA will be hiring students for the following two positions: Health Fellow and Communications Fellow.

The Delta Fellowship Program provides professional development and training opportunities for postsecondary education students passionate about the Delta and Alabama Black Belt regions, economic development, community revitalization, and public policy. DRA selects a limited number of fellows to work under the guidance and mentorship of agency staff. Although job duties vary by division, prospective fellows can apply for a position according to their interests. Each fellowship varies in duration based on agency needs. 

To be eligible, prospective applicants must be enrolled at a four-year university, two-year college, vocational/technical school, or continuing education program. Experience working, living, or studying in the DRA footprint is preferred but not required.
