December 30, 2020

CLARKSDALE, MS—Delta Regional Authority Chairman Chris Caldwell today issued the following statement on the passing of Congressman-elect Luke Letlow:

“Congressman-elect Letlow’s passing leaves a huge void not only in Louisiana’s 5th Congressional District but in all of Louisiana and the greater Delta region.  Luke spent his life dedicated to the people of Louisiana and leaves behind a legacy of service that will not soon be forgotten. Luke was a graduate of our Delta Leadership Institute, and DRA was incredibly proud of his life in public service. On behalf of the Delta Regional Authority, we send our condolences and prayers to his wife Julia, his children Jeremiah and Jacqueline, and all who are grieving his loss at this time.”
