Reminder to Register for Delta Summit 2022: Regular Registration Closes February 28th

Delta Summit 2022, presented by Delta Regional Authority (DRA), will take place March 29-31, 2022 in New Orleans, LA.  The event is designed to bring together community leaders and subject matter experts from across the eight-state DRA region to discuss and learn more about the region’s opportunities for economic development, rural revitalization, and community resiliency.

Delta Summit 2022 will feature keynote speakers including: 

  • James Carville, political icon
  • Sarah Smarsh, journalist and author of Heartland: A Memoir of Working Hard and Being Broke in the Richest Country on Earth
  • Lt. General Russel Honoré, USA (Ret.), Commander of Joint Task Force Katrina, Leadership, Safety & Global Preparedness Authority and Leader of U.S. Capitol Complex Security Review
  • Jim & Mallorie Rasberry and Josh Nowell, cast members of the HGTV hit show “Home Town”

The three-day summit will feature engaging sessions and workshops, field experiences, and peer networking opportunities to share ideas, best practices, and strategies to move the region forward. Concurrent session tracks will feature subject matter experts with substantial experience in public infrastructure and transportation, workforce development and education, business development and entrepreneurship, community revitalization, and health. DRA staff will also facilitate sessions about DRA programs and initiatives to provide attendees with a better understanding of the resources and tools DRA has to offer to their communities.

DRA will continue to adhere to the CDC’s public health guidance and will consider all state and local recommendations in New Orleans, Louisiana. Due to evolving public health circumstances, the Delta Summit schedule is tentative and subject to change based on expected attendance, capacity considerations, and public health protocols at the time of the event.
