A native of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Mandy Guin learned from an early age what it meant to be compassionate and understanding of other’s needs. This led to her nearly 14-year career in healthcare. In the summer of 2018 Mandy decided it was time for a career change to allow more time with her young children who were entering school. At that time, she started working for The University of Alabama’s College of Continuing Studies in Conference Services. She quickly advanced and at the time of joining Delta Regional Authority (DRA) in June 2020 she was Program Assistant where she worked on multiple programs, including DRA’s Executive Leadership Academy and Workforce Development Programs. She was also the student worker supervisor for her department and served on the Financial Management team. She joined DRA as Administrative Manager where she worked closely with the Federal Co-Chairman and in June 2021, Mandy was promoted to Health Programs Analyst where she began working on the Delta Doctors and Innovative Readiness Training Programs.
Mandy and her husband, Jeremy, live in Tuscaloosa with their two sons, eight year old Sawyer, and five year old Oliver.
