Jessica Shappley serves as the Chief Policy and Communications Officer at the Delta Regional Authority. Ms. Shappley recently served as the Communications Director at the Stennis Center for Public Service, a federal, bipartisan Legislative Branch agency that provides training and development for public service professionals. Previously, she served as Vice President of Policy at Hope Enterprise Corporation and Hope Credit Union. She also served as a Senior Policy Analyst at Hope Policy Institute and as a Policy Analyst at the Mississippi Economic Policy Center, where she focused on financial inclusion and community and economic development.
Ms. Shappley received a bachelor’s degree in English and communications with an emphasis in journalism at Mississippi State University (MSU). She also received a master’s degree in public policy and public administration with an emphasis in health policy from MSU.
