Lynne Chambers

Lynne Chambers, Esq. is the owner of The Law Office of Lynne M. Chambers, the CEO/Principal consultant, Chambers and Associates, (program development/facilitation, training, and conference/event planning) and the Founder/Executive Director of Legacy Training, Inc., a non-profit that promotes health and expands the arts in underserved communities.

Currently she is a member of the board of directors of the Southern Illinois Community Foundation, Advisory Board to the President, Shawnee Community College, and the Legal Redress Chair for the Illinois Conference of Branches, NAACP. She was awarded Woman of the Year, 2021 by the Women of the NAACP (WIN).

Chambers holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Services Administration from Northeastern Illinois University, a Master’s Degree in Social Work with an emphasis on Child Welfare and a Juris Doctorate with a specialization in Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution, from Southern Illinois School of Social Work and Law respectively.

She also has completed post-graduate studies in leadership as a member of the Executive Academy of the Delta Leadership Network, as a fellow of the national African American Women’s Leadership Institute, and the Executive Training Academy at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. She was recently appointed by Governor JB Pritzker as the alternate designee to represent the State of Illinois on the Delta Regional Authority

She is an adjunct Instructor at Southeast Missouri State University and Shawnee Community College.

Lynne lives in Grand Chain, Illinois. She is the mother of two and grandmother of six (“heartbeats”). She is a member of the St. John Praise and Worship Center in Pulaski, Illinois. She loves people, travel, and “all things art.”
