On behalf of Delta Regional Authority (DRA) Federal Co-Chairman Dr. Corey Wiggins, we would like to invite you to DRA’s Engaging Rural Communities: What Matters the Most in 2022 and Beyond. This event is an opportunity to provide community stakeholders with a platform to voice their most pressing economic and workforce development needs. The goal is to facilitate robust community conversations that lead to identifiable community-led strategies and solutions that can be supported by funding from DRA and other sources. DRA is committed to the economic vitality of the 252 counties and parishes within our region, especially those that are rural and experience high rates of poverty, unemployment, and underdevelopment. It is our hope that this listening tour serves as the first step in building a roadmap that is conducive to economic growth and opportunity in rural and underserved communities.
