Delta Region Community Health Systems Development

A partnership program with Health Resources and Services Administration’s Federal Office of Rural Health Policy.

The Delta Region Community Health Systems Development (DRCHSD) enhances health care delivery by providing technical assistance to critical access hospitals, small rural hospitals, rural health clinics and other health care organizations.

From 2021 to 2024, the DRA sponsored over 400 physicians through the Delta Doctors Program. Each physician is estimated to generate an average of five full-time jobs within their clinics and an additional 3.4 full- and part-tie jobs within the surrounding community.
